Rachel Raz is an educator and entrepreneur. She is the founder of multiple initiatives with global reach. Rachel is passionate about the advancement and growth of individuals and communities, and the creation of a more interconnected, inclusive and thriving world.
She is a consultant and a frequent invited speaker for many organizations. Rachel is the founder and executive producer of the Space Torah Project and film that preserves and shares the journey of NASA astronaut Dr. Jeff Hoffman. She is Moishe House’s East Coast Regional Jewish educator and a mentor to students at the American Jewish University’s (AJU) Jewish Education and Leadership program.
For over a decade Rachel led the Early Childhood Institute of Hebrew College graduate school of Jewish Education. During this time, she initiated and chaired the Annual Educators’ Conference. She directed the Boston Haifa Early Childhood Educators’ Connection, a program sponsored by Combined Jewish Philanthropy (CJP) and the Haifa Municipality in Israel. Likewise, Rachel designed and led educational seminars in Israel and the US for educators and professionals.
Rachel has published multiple articles about early childhood education, education in general, and the Jewish ecosystem. She authored two children’s books: ABC Israel (2012) and the Colors of Israel (2015).
Most recently you can listen to Rachel on her new podcast "Education in a Time of War". Rachel earned her BA from Bar-Ilan University (Israel) and MJED from Hebrew College (Newton, MA).
